Holiday Goodies From Superawesome
Dragan on 30. Dec '08 35
As a short yet truly sincere tradition, this year again we have prepared something special for our clients and you dear readers!

Looks like our contact form is acting up a bit. If you have used it to send your address details for the pads, please resend the info to the following email: dudes at thisdomain.com. Sorry for the inconvenience!
What you see above are a couple of things we’ve been toying with for the past couple of weeks. Basically we like sending out cool free stuff we make to people who keep us busy, and we didn’t let this year be an exception even though if we’re just a tad bit late.
Presenting Do.Pads

At Superawesome we’re all about efficiency and we’ve been having a hard time finding a nice way to manage our tasks. When we’re on our computers and in our office we have whiteboards and activeCollab, also there’s the fabulous TaskPaper — the best productivity app I have ever seen, I highly recommend it, and sadly it’s site really doesn’t do it justice.
OK, so we’re pretty much all set when we’re in our work environment, but what about when we don’t have access to the internet, or even our computers? Well, that’s where Do.Pads come in to play — they are small notebooks with ruled sheets pre-made for lists, together with checkboxes so you can check away as you get stuff done. They are small enough to fit into almost any size pocket, yet big enough to write on, flexible enough to fit nicely in a back pocket of your jeans, yet sturdy enough to write onto them in your hand.
960.Pads — Sketch that Site!

We firmly believe that Websites are truly made on paper, with a pencil. Well, at least they start out like that. Anyway, we got tired of drawing frames on blank sheets of paper, and making unproportional sketches, so we decided to make a template that features a 12 column grid with 24px gutters (the same setup our internal CSS framework uses), along with some extra space for notes on the interface, as we tend to scribble a lot when we mock things up. Also, the 960.Pad is an excellent replacement for a mouse pad, just tear away the sheets as you sketch.
OK Enough Talk — How can I Get One?
It’s simple really, just leave a comment below, or send us your postal address/information via email and we’ll keep sending them for as long as we’re stocked. We must admit we don’t have a whole bunch of these as this it the first batch, but rest assured that we have something interesting coming up regarding these and similar products.
We honestly hope you like these and we wish you a happy and prosperous new year, cheers!

I just sent you guys an email if you still have some left. This is pretty cool. I was using my Action Method book but perhaps that is better left to writing than sketching.

These are fabulous! I wish I had seen them earlier, but would love to be put on the list. PS You can thank Andy Clarke (@Malarkey on Twitter) for complimenting your goodies online and sending out the link. Thanks again—these are lovely, and both the Do Pads and 960 site pads look terribly useful!

I just Googled ’960 grid pad’ thinking it would be an awesome (excuse the pun) idea and this came up.
Since it was a while back, I’m guessing you are all out right :P
Any idea where I could get my hands on something similar.
Thanks,
Sul.
— Sulcalibur 6. April 2009, 17:28 #
@Sulcalibur — Yeah, we’re definitely out of stock. We’ll keep all of you guys updated if we decide to do something similar soon.
